PRAISE REPORT: 10/10/08 - Our Annual Fund Banquet FMCS would like to thank EVERYONE who helped to make the banquet and auction a great success (early number on the auction - $13,000!). For the Annual Fund offering: Cash and checks received totaled $ 3,576; faith promises came to $12,530! I can't thank you all enough - God is faithful! PRAISE REPORT: 10/12/07 - Our Annual Fund Banquet was held tonight and we had a great evening, with a turnout of close to 300 people! We were blessed by music from our first thru fourth graders, middle school ensemble, and music teacher, Dorothy Gulbronson. Everyone was challenged by our speaker, Walt Wiley, from Winning With Encouragement Ministries and former chaplain for the Atlanta Braves - How can you give (money or by you time and talents) to bless FMCS? Can you give to be a part of what God is doing here?

Pastor Finger did a great job explaining the Annual Fund and why it is so important that we all do our part at FMCS. Total offerings and pledges for the evening totaled: $14,000

While we realize that God has blessed each of us with a different capacity to give, the important part of this campaign is that you give up to your individual capacity. Participation by every family is a key component of this campaign. Of course, some families will be able to commit more and some families will have to commit less. It is important that you give at your level of ability, and most important that you participate. Any donation that you make, whether monthly or one-time, will help us reach our goal!

What is the Annual Fund? It is important to realize tuition payments do not entirely cover the cost of providing quality Christian education to students at Fort Myers Christian School. Every year, we have a "gap" that we need to cover through our development fundraisers: Sally Foster Gift Wrap, Golf Tournament and the Annual Fund campaign. The "gap" is the difference between the cost of tuition and the actual amount of funds needed to cover the cost of a quality Christian education. (The average for most private schools is $1500-$2000). 

Your unrestricted, TAX DEDUCTIBLE gift to this campaign will allow the school to cover this deficit. Your contributions will enable us to continue to provide assistance to students and families, update technology, update curriculum, and other costs associated with operating a quality Christian School.
